DISCIPLES IN MISSION
2008 is coming shortly, and with it will be the second year of our parish Disciples in Mission Program. The many parishioners who participated last year can tell you what an incredible experience our first year was as we worshipped, shared, and brainstormed together. Don't be left out of the fun and enrichment in our next phase! Stay tuned to the bulletin for updates on this successful program, and be ready to sign up in January! If you would like to be a small group leader, please call the Parish Center at 273-6121.
BULLETIN ADVERTISERS NEEDED
We are in need of new advertisers for the back of our bulletin. If you have a business and would like to make it known to our parishioners, please call Ginny Seacord at 273-6121
SPECIAL MUSIC MINISTRY COLLECTION
This Sunday, the second "Special Ministries" collection will be for our Music Ministry. The Immaculate Conception Music Ministry, at this time, consists of three major groups: the Traditional Choir, the Contemporary (Folk Group) Choir, and the Cantor Program. Each group has its own unique needs. The Traditional Choir is always looking for new music and many different ways to present it. At this time choir hymnals need to be replaced. The Folk Group uses equipment that needs maintenance and is presently in need of new patch cords as well as new pieces to add to the liturgies. The Cantor Program uses special music and associated materials for workshops that our cantors attend. Although many needs overlap, there is still funding needed to help cover these costs. The Music Department asks your support in today's collection to keep its ministry moving forward into and throughout the new year. Thank you for your support. Gary Vrabel, Music Minister

Father Santo SJ, who was with us for six years while studying at Cornell celebrated his 25th anniversary of ordination on December 30th. He writes, "In this special year I really would like to thank all of you so much for your kindness and generosity while I was in Ithaca.. I believe that Father Carges and the Parish Staff trained me as a young priest. I assure you all of my prayers for your intentions."
