Celebrate Mary with the Rosary During the month of October

Immaculate Conception will be praying the Rosary weekly on Monday and Thursday at 11:40am. If you are willing to lead a service, please sign up by the Mary Shrine in the church.

For the second year we are partnering with Cross Catholic Outreach to send Boxes of Joy to children in impoverished countries in time for Christmas. The response was so overwhelming last year (with 77 shoe boxes from families and over 1000 water bottles from parishioners sent) that we invite the entire parish to participate in packing a Box of Joy! Empty boxes will be available at the North Street Church entrance during the weekend of Oct 21/22 for you to pick-up and take home to pack. Instructions and envelope for the $9 shipping fee will be included in the box. On the weekend of Nov 4/5 return your filled box to the same location and Fr. Chumo will bless them before they ship to Cross Catholic Outreach in Florida. Our goad this year will be to bless 125 children at Christmas-will you help us? Thank you in advance!

On Sunday, October 22nd teens and chaperons from our parish will be hosting our parish coffee hour where we will also be holding our final fundraiser for our pilgrimage to the National Catholic Youth Conference. We have partnered with the Monks at the Abbey of the Genesee to bring you their WORLD-FAMOUS Monks Biscotti. Monks’ Biscotti are traditional, twice-baked Italian cookies, the perfect complement to coffee, tea, wine or ice cream. In a variety of terrific flavors, each package is 7 oz. (about 8 pieces), each serving under 100 calories. Biscotti will be available for sale at the main entrance of the church as well as in Carges Hall during the coffee hour. They go great with coffee or tea, make great Christmas gifts and have a very long shelf life. Support this life-giving and life-changing opportunity for our young people’s travel to NCYC. Cost: $8 per box 6 DELICIOUS FLAVORS: Sea Salt Caramel, Cranberry Orange, Lemon Ginger, Anise Almond, Maple Pecan, and Dark Chocolate Chip
