Youth Ministry
The mission of Youth Ministry at Immaculate Conception is to help young people and families nurture their faith, spirituality and Catholic identity by providing systematic catechesis through religious education programs, junior high and senior high youth groups, social events and service and leadership opportunities. We strive to help young people aware of their gifts and talents and to use those gifts and talents to serve their families, parish and greater community. We also work to partner with parents and be a resource to help nurture and make genuine the faith of their children, pre-teens and teens.

Waiting at the airport in Atlanta for the second leg of our trip to KC. There was a major glitch with the FAA computers which caused delays all across the country. Despite our connection being delayed a half an hour we still got to KC at our originally scheduled time. Too bad our rooms weren't ready when we got to the hotel.
As you can see some of us were tired and hungry from a long day on the plane and waiting for our hotel room assignments. Nothing that some Famous Dave's KC Barbecue couldn't remedy. DEEEEELICIOUS!
NCYC Day #2
Perhaps the biggest highlight the kids could name for today was Eucharistic Procession though the streets of Kansas City from the Sprint Center arena to the Convention Center. What an awesome experience!!!

NCYC Day #3
Closing Mass on Saturday Night: What an amazing site to see so many priests and bishops processing and con celebrating Mass together. The Mass was 2 hours and 20 minutes long but seemed to go bye so quickly. Everyone really loved celebrating with over 20,000 others.
